TitlePetition of John Cross, of Chesterton
DescriptionThe petition has been ordered to pay a fine of £20 for accidently damaging Denver Sluice during bad weather (see Ref S/B/SP1368), even though Thomas King was responsible for the lighters. He argues that he is unable to pay the penalty, as he lost more than £100 during the incident and is now engaged in an expensive lawsuit. Two signatories.
