DescriptionThe Corporation owes Garret £84 for work done in 1673, and the creditors have agreed with his widow Mary to accept this sum in payment of their debts of £115. William Broughton, a very poor man, has married Mary, is offering them 8s in the pound and is trying to have the £84 paid to him for his own use.
