Description"The petitioners argue that their lands are now flooded for longer, as the sluice at Salter's Lode obstructs the outfall of the [River Ouse]. They ask for Salter's Lode Sluice, the overfall at [Roswell] Hill and other such inlets to be removed. They also ask for the banks of the Westwater to be maintained, to protect the their lands from the spring tides. Forty eight signatories. '
