TitlePetition of the Inhabitants of Haddenham and Sutton
DescriptionThe petitioners report that their land on the south side of the [Ouse] Wases has been flooded for several years, as they have no convenient outfall. They ask for a small 5 ft sluice to be erected in the Great Bank above Sutton Gault, to allow the floodwater to drain more readily. They also ask for Middlemoor Lode and [the Head Drain] to be scoured and enlarged. Thirty five signatories.
