TitlePetition of John [Saffery] and Thomas Tompson
DescriptionThe petitioners were contracted to build a dam at Stowbridge across the lower end of St John's Eau, which was to cost no more than £50. He represents that he spent £53:7s:3d building the dam in November 1667, and a further £41:19s:2d repairing it when in broke in March 1668. He asks to be repaid, as he has lost £45:6s:5d. Two signatories.
