DescriptionLetter to Richard Lord Gorges, concerning the sluice at Outwell. He reports that the bad state of the sluice has almost closed the River Nene, and that almost 100 boats cannot move for want of water. He has had new doors made for Pophams Eau sluice and asks for an order for other repairs, which will cost £10.
