DescriptionPetition of the Landowners in Somersham, Colne and Earith. Crane Brook is prone to overflowing and does much damage to both their lands and the King's highway. The petitioners reported this two years ago but nothing has been done. Also that Somersham Lode and the Westwater into which it flows are much overgrown, and that the Westwater is obstructed by bridges.
