TitlePetition of Several Inhabitants of March, Doddington, Wimblington and Chatteris
DescriptionThe petitioners are owners and occupiers of several parcels of land in March, Doddington, Wimblington and Chatteris, which are often flooded by water from Cranbrook Drain, Bury Brook, Conington Brook and several other drains. They ask for a new outfall to be made, to carry the waters away from the River Nene. They also ask for the tunnel through Somersham Bank to be dammed. Eighty nine signatories.
