TitlePetition of Thomas Worsley
DescriptionThe petitioner reports that he and Mark Turville were employed by the Bedford Level Corporation to repair the south bank of the New Bedford River with gault between Branghill Closes and Middlemoor. The Corporation promised to give them relief for the 16 lighters lost in a storm in January 1673 once all the debts due that year were discharged. He asks for compensation for their loss, as the lighters were worth at least £70.
