DescriptionVolume containing the draft minutes of the Bedford Level Corporation. These are expanded upon in Proceedings of the Bedford Level Corporation R59/31/12/7. Also includes draft minutes taken at a meeting, concerning the Eastern Counties Railway Bill; a note about the removal of the Fen Office to Ely; accounts of the repairs to the Ten Mile River between 1830 and 1838; summons to the Superintendent's Committee held on 05 October 1842, with the travelling expenses of members of the committee written on the reverse; "An Account showing the Total Quantities of Foreign and Colonial Grain and Flour entered for Home Consumption"; a loose agenda for a meeting held on 29 December 1843; resolutions made at a meeting held on 29 December 1843, concerning the South Level Commissioners and St Johns Eau; resolutions of the Court of Sewers about the [1844] Middle Level Bill, draft minutes taken at meetings held on 13 March 1844 and 01 April 1844;summons to the Parliamentary Committee held on 29 March 1844 and a meeting on 18 April 1844; instructions to W.C. Mylne about the Brandon and Peterborough extension of the Eastern Counties Railway; copies of orders and other notes.
