DescriptionDecree of the Commissioners of Sewers made at King's Lynn on 13 January 1630/1, in which Francis, Earl of Bedford, undertook to drain the Great Level of the Fens before 01 October 1637. In return he was to receive 95,000 acres of the newly drained land.
