DescriptionThese deeds have been kept in their original numbered bundles. A few, which were found loose, have been added. Jamaica was divided into 3 Counties-Cornwall, Middlesex and Surrey. These contained Parishes as below. Cornwall: Hanover, Westmorland, St. James, Trelawney, St. Elizabeth. Middlesex: St. Ann, Manchester, St. Mary, St. Thomas in the Vale, St. John, Clarendon, St. Dorothy, Vere, St. Catherine. Surrey: St. George, Portland, St. Andrew, Port Royal, St. David, St. Thomas in the East, Kingston.
