TitlePlan of the hospital for sick slaves upon the Good Hope Estate, the property of John Tharp, Esquire, situated in the parish of Trelawney. West and North elevations and ground plans. In colour. Alexander Campbell, carpenter at Good Hope in 1796.
DescriptionAn unusual feature of this plan is the provision of water closets on both floors of the building. In 1798 very few buildings in Britain would have had such sanitary conveniences, yet a slave owner in Jamaica was providing them in a hospital for sick slaves.
