Description | Of 31 acres in fields of Burrough Green and Dullingham which were Thomas Chapemans of Westley, a tenement called Munckes Howese in Stow (appropriated without royal licence by Thomas Okie, parson of Stow), meadow called Flemminges Meade with appurtenances in Burwell, Toft, and 16 acres in Foxton and 3 acres free land in Foxton fields, held by royal letters patent of 20 September 22 Elizabeth I [1580]. Thomas Bostocke of London, gentleman, to John Cotton, esquire, son and heir apparent of Sir John Cotton of Landwade, knight. Seal with classical head; attached to this is a similarly sealed bond for £20 for performance of deed. |
