656a 3r 22p in two blocks, one bounded by the roads from Newmarket to Cambridge and Swaffham to the south and northeast, th other by the River Cam to the northwest and a droveway on the Swaffham road to the southwest.
Names of fields, of owners of adjoining land and of watercourses and droves; roads showing positions of milestones and gates, and directions; farm buildings and yards shown in plan form; differentiation by colour of grass and arable land, ditches and roads. Table top left gives names, acreages and land use. Pencil additions on Chalk Farm fields show freehold and leasehold areas. Tithe set in uncoloured cartouche.
Scale: 10 inches to 1 mile. Size: 19 7/8 x 22½ in. Orientation: top is NW. Manuscript; paper; ink and colourwash; pencil additions.
