DescriptionDeeds comprising 283/T1 and 283/T2 were found in a cloth bag marked very faintly 'Thes for the Revd. Mr Ro(?)us Wilkins(?): att the colligg(?) in Ely in the County of Cambri'ge'. This bag was among papers deposited by Evans & Sons, solicitors of Ely, as accession R61/30(pt), and forms part of a short sequence of archive boxes marked 'very old deeds'. These other 'very old deeds', the bulk being late 17th and 18th century and relating to land in Haddenham, Witcham, Thetford, Stretham and Littleport, have not yet been described. Numbers of witnesses are noted in 283/T1 only.
