DescriptionA very calm and quiet image of The Broadway, St Ives, looking towards the parish church. The photograph was taken sometime in the late 1890s or the early 1900s. The shop of Charles Frederick Clarke, watchmaker and fancy dealer, can be seen on the left. The original glass plate has been broken in two pieces, and repaired.
