DescriptionView of the River Great Ouse at St Ives, looking towards The Quay and the river bridge. A small sailing boat can be seen in the middle distance. River barges, including the Thames, the Cam and the Lark, all belonging to the Ouse Transport Company,can be seen in the foreground . This company was owned by a Mr. Leonard Simpson, a London stockbroker, who bought the navigation rights on this part of the Great Ouse in the late 19th century. This image is identical to DC334
