The top of St Mary's Church tower can also be seen in the middle distance. The Crown Hotel at 49 High Street can be seen on the right, next to Fordham's grocery shop. Murkett's shop and garage can be seen on the extreme right of the photograph. This business moved to 111 High Street in 1912 when the Fountain Inn closed. See also DC103
