TitleThomas Coxon of Huntingdon
DescriptionHalf-length seated studio portrait of Thomas Coxon in the robes of the Mayor of Huntingdon. Mr Coxon established his drapery and ladies' outfitters business at 53 High Street, Huntingdon, in 1889. He was a Justice of the Peace, Secretary of the Literary Institute and served in the Huntingdonshire Volunteers. He was also Mayor of Huntingdon in 1903-1904, 1909-1910 and 1910-1911.
