Description | John Gowler releases the property as at R3/24/1 to James Overall, grocer of Ramsey and Henry Smith, yeoman of Ramsey, in trust for Gowler and the parties to be married, namely, John Barwicke, bricklayer of St Ives, and Elizabeth Browne, widow and daughter of Crowler. With memorandum of an agreement (30 July 1692) that Joseph Baiwick, yeoman of St Ives and his wife Elizabeth, parents of Hohn, convey a messuage next the waterside in St Ives called the Bricklayers Arms or the Maidens Head, to his son John and his heirs, on his marriage. |
