TitleOn 6th October 1659 it was ordered that the churchwardens and overseers of every parish should collect alms for the relief of those who had suffered loss by fire at Sawston (Daniel Farrowe, Anne Clarke, widow, John Heylocke, Thomas Webb, Ann Manser, widow, Thomas Spittlehouse, Frances Atteridge, widow and Thomas Bowtrell) and pay the money to the chief constables of the hundreds for disbursement by Robert Westley of Whittlesford according to the order of the justices: all sums not yet handed over to be paid to him forthwith.
