DescriptionDescription. 1. Construction of a junction railway to connect the Ely and Peterborough main line with the Ely and Norwich main line near Ely station. 2. Widening and improvement of the Newmarket and Bury Railway, commencing in the parish of Exning (county Suffolk) and terminating on the parish of St James, Bury St Edmunds (county Suffolk). NB. The printed summary of the bill refers to many works not relating to the county of Cambridgeshire. Passing through the following parishes: 1. Inter-mixed parishes of Holy Trinity and St Mary, Ely (county Cambridgeshire), Exning (county Suffolk), Snailwell, Chippenham, Kennett (all in county Cambridgeshire). Kentford, Gazeley, Higham, Barrow, Great Saxham, Little Saxham, Fornham All Saints, Westley, St. James, Bury St Edmunds (all in county Suffolk). Comprising.
