DescriptionThis image is identical to WG3/1957A, which is described as Mr R Ashton's drawing room. The 1898 trade directory lists a Mr Richard Ashton living at 1 The Walks North, Huntingdon. The house was known as Lawrence Villa, and was demolished when that part of the ring road was built around the town in the 1960s. For an exterior view of the house, see WH3/2469.
