DescriptionHe regrets writing to the Duke in Jamaica about Mandeville's intention to withdraw but he is glad that if Mandeville stands it will not be publicly with Fellowes. His ill health prevents him accepting her kind invitation. Reports the death of Mr Dashwood, his uncle. Glad they are giving up Melchbourne - "an odious place". Suggests they build a place at Grafham or Weybridge.
