Property: two messuages in Stonely, now in the occupation of (i); fourteen score acres in Stonely, incl. orchards, woods etc; windmill known as Agden Mill, with the ground belonging; pasture grounds called Bigrams in Kimbolton, Overstow [Stow] and Netherstow, containing 300 acres; all other his property in Kimbolton, Overstow, Netherstow, Great Staughton and in Pertenhall [Beds]; common or pasture for 300 sheep upon Agden Green; cottages in Covington, with threescore and fifteen acres; other closes in Covington including Meadow Close and the Mill Pasture.

(i), having no issue of his own, desires for the “advancement of the surname of Wingfield and also for the good of the Common Wealth And having observed that the said surname of the Wingfields have been naturally inclined to imploy themselves and their heirs[?] in natural and …[political?] affairs which disposition thoughe the said Edward Maria Wingfield doth not mislike yet because he hath not found that any of them of late have prospered in that way as many of their noble and worthy vertues … deserve”
Intends to now to use the profits of the above estates to be held in trust and the profits used for the education of several young men in the Wingfield family into the law profession.
