His opinion on the matter remains the same as he gave yesterday morning, states the Shepherd has been ordered to always have the boy at his command to assist him with the sheep, but at Harvest time he can spare the boy. Burness borrowing the boy that Saturday morning is subject to that order, but the Shepherd found it necessary to take him back that afternoon. Shepherd was following his orders.
