Title | Letter from Thomas Essex, May Place, Malvern Wells [Worcs], to the Duke of Manchester |
Description | Enquiring as to the Duke's plans for Lord Mandeville after he leaves Essex's care. It would be difficult to get him into Eton by next Easter and Harrow might be easier. Harrow is by far the best school for a slow or backwards boy and there are quite as many boys of good family there as at Eton. Lord Mandeville is well. |
