Title | Letter from Charles Barnett, Stratton Park [Beds], to the Duke of Manchester |
Description | Hunting arrangements. His old Cambridgeshire supporters will not consent to any alterations to the days. He suggests that they hunt in Brampton on alternate Wednesdays. Fitzwilliam can continue to hunt ever Wednesday but will select more distant meets on those days. His objects are to afford more sport to the gentlemen in the neighbourhood and to send the foxes that came into his coverts back to their woods. |
