The said Sir John Arundel, Samuel Edward Couch, Mayor of Huntingdon, The Reverend John Fell, David Veasey the younger, John Sweeting esq all of Huntingdon. Two closes of inclosed pasture ground called Cancroft Closes lying in Hail Weston with 9a of meadow lying in Cancroft Meadow. One close of pasture (5a) lying in Colne and called Brackhill Close. One Close of pasture lying in St John's parish, Huntingdon, late Lamb's Garden. All other premises recited beforehand in the deed, consideration: 5s. The above properties are conveyed to (2) as the newly-appointed Trustees of Sayer's charity. The deed contains a lengthy recital of the deeds relating to the charity, including the original conveyance of the above property by George Sayer to the town of Huntingdon, 1737. Also a letter from David Veasey, Castle Hill House, Huntingdon to Mr Burton re. the examination of the accounts of Sayer's Cahrity was found inside the deed dated 1 dec 1869.
