| Title | Letter; T. Wright Vaughan, Knightbridge, to 7th Earl of Sandwich. |
| Description | Seeks the return of Lieutenant Browne's letter, so that he himself can frame a proper letter to lay before the War Office. Mr. George Thornhill would be a very proper person for a Captaincy should he with to undertake it. If the Adjutant should retire, as is likely, is ready to lay before the Earl a very eligible application from a Captain of the Line. Enclosed: Letter A. Fernie, Wellingborough, to Captain Green. Is able and willing in the event of the Militia being embodied, to repair to Head Quarters and provide medical aid, when called upon to do so. 3rd January, 1846 |
