Title | Circular Letter; Lord Palmerston, Whitehall, to 7th Earl of Sandwich. |
Description | Giving notice that in some cases the Arms etc. of Regiments of Militia have, at the end of the training period, been sent back to the Ordnance Stores without any previous authority from the Ordnance Department. This is inconvenient and expensive for the Board of Ordnance. Stores should be kept in a suitable place in the county, or else sent to an Ordnance Store after proper representation has been made to the Home Office. |
