DescriptionIs in the process of fixing the elections for the next Parliament. Does not think it advisable that Captain Montagu should offer himself as a candidate for the Borough at the present time. It would be a very expensive enterprise both because Lord Sandwich is now out of employment and also because recommending two members of the family would arouse much opposition which the present administration would back.
