DescriptionLetters written to the 4th Earl of Sandwich (5 of which are from the Duke of Manchester) relative to his seeking support and votes for his son, Lord Hinchingbrooke, and Lord Carysfort for the next county election. The Duke of Manchester has withdrawn his support from Sir Robert Bernard and agrees to ally with Sandwich in an attempt to avoid a disputed election in the County. The other correspondents some as a result of Manchester's decision - promise their support too. The Duke of Manchester also discusses the succession to the Post Office at St. Neots after Chapman's retirement.
