Scheme includes alternative terminus line proposal in parish of Godmanchester (Huntingdonshire) Historical note: act obtained August 1845 (8 & 9 Vict. cap. cci) for Cambridge-St Ives only. Line opened August 1847. Line from St Ives to Huntingdon (i.e. later Godmanchester station) opened on same day constructed under Ely and Bedford scheme q.v. HCP/8/10 below
