Cheffins Full title: 'Railway commencing by the London and Birmingham Railways in the parish of Gayton terminating Peterborough in the County of Northampton' (scheme in fact commences in parish of Blisworth) Historical note: act obtained July 1843 (6 & 7 Vict. cap. lxiv). Line opened Blisworth to Northampton May 1845, Northampton to Peterborough June 1845.
