DescriptionStatements from the above shopkeepers and from Samuel Fairey, retired draper, Charles Aspenwall (apprentice to Goodjames) Sarah Wright. Evidence was taken from Anne Green and Eliza Nicholls (who were school-fellows and signed their names. Mrs Brimley said that neither her husband nor the Green and Nicholls family knew anything of the matter. The Jurors' presentment includes observations by counsel (F.Gunning, Sargeants Inn) on the case - the relation between the children as thieves and the woman as receiver.
