TitleConcerning a riot in Kimbolton on Nov 5th - subsequent indictment of (1) John James, John Gardner, John Maile, William Ashby for taking hurdles, rails, poles etc. from the Duke of Manchester's property to kindle a fire on the Market Hill and for assault on Isaac Moore and William Warren, in the Duke's employ. Statements by Charles Ibbs and Job Wilson (Glover) constable and assistant constable of Kimbolton, and by Isaac Moore. (2) Charles Horsford for assaulting Wilson who had arrested him in connection with the above riot and John Horsford, his father, for rescuing him from custody.
