All but one of the staff members in the black and white photograph have been identified as follows:
Cecil Taylor (advertising representative), Rosamund Jones (advertising department), Gordon Brown (reporter), Angela Day (advert. dept.), Don Talbot (reporter), Rosemary Fuge (advert. dept.), David Wakefield (reporter), Betty Jacob (reporter), Eric Peacock (advert. dept.), Joyce Milton (advert. dept.), John Clark (sports editor), unknown lady, Philip Norman (reporter), Janet Blackman (advert. dept.), Michael Deaves (reporter), Clive Brown (deputy editor), Kate Gurney (office manager), Fred Johnson (editor), Janet Baker (assistant office manager). The photograph must date from between 1962-1965 - Philip Norman joined the Sunday Times in 1965, aged 22, after beginning his journalistic career on the Hunts Post, where he was a reporter for three years.
