| Description | This booklet is a reprint from a local paper of a meeting of the Club in 1871 at which the members gave speeches on various topics. The preface reads, "A meeting of this Society - established in 1813 - was held at the Golden Lion Hotel, on the 18th January 1871, the speakers and their speeches will be found more than interesting. Reprinted from a local paper of the period now in the possession of Mr Elliott R. Odams, Lyndhurst, St Ives, and published for the delectation of the survivors of those who were present. September 15th, 1907". The speakers were Messrs. E.A. Wingfield, C.P. Tebbutt, G.N. Day, T. Watts, B. Brown, G. Coote, L. Ekins, W.M. Turner, Thomas Coote, S. Ginn, Dr. Goodall and Mr. Marshall.
