Description | The ledger covers the period c1867 - c1890, and records the building work undertaken by George Richardson on a number of properties in Huntingdon, including the Falcon inn, Trinity Church (which stood where The British Heart Foundation and Bon Marche are today), St Mary's Church, shop fronts in George Lane etc. There are miscellaneous pieces of paper with the volume. Among them is a draft letter written by R[obert] E Richardson [his son] on 19th May 1890, giving notice to quit the shop in St Benedict's parish, Huntingdon, lately occupied by his father. There is also an end board, presumably from a family bible, recording Richardson births, marriages and deaths 1802-1845 |
