TitleFletton brickyard plans [SM2/8]
DescriptionTwo A2 size plans drawn up by the County Councils Surveyors in 1964 as part of the 'Fly-Ash' project drawn looking down the East Coast mainline towards Peterborough. They show the location of the pits around Hicks Brickworks in Fletton and the two 'new' Peterborough brick works. One plan shows the pits as they were/are, the other shows how they could/should be used after they are closed (e.g. farmland, reservoir, urban etc).
