TitleLetter to Lord Robert Montagu from Robert Leslie Ellis, Anstey Hall [Trumpington]
DescriptionIt was a great pleasure to see Montagu in the summer. He quite agrees that the forms of social relation that currently exist are not the only possible ones, although the majority of sober people shrink from anything that smacks of socialism. Lengthy discussion follows. He is "going out of the world now" but Montagu has many years before him, a high position, and the opportunity to do something for "God's poor".
