TitleLetter to Lord Robert Montagu from Robert Leslie Ellis, Anstey Hall [Trumpington]
DescriptionHe has been very anxious about his eyes and weeks have passed before he felt well enough to reply to Montagu's letter. He has scarcely been able to read the tracts that Montagu sent. He did not realise Montagu was such a disciple of Maurice and thinks it generous to write on his behalf when he got into trouble. Followed by scientific discussion of the benefits of eating gelatinous food.
