Description	With thanks for Malmsbury's kindness in prompting Derby to remember him. He wrote yesterday to Derby but has not received a reply. States expense of standing for Huntingdonshire when no one else was willing, refusal of offers from Palmerston, animosity from Disraeli, lack of support from the party. Disappointment at now being passed over in spite of his support for Derby. Please discover the cause.
