DescriptionAgreement that, considering the dispute re. the Upton rents, they will leave the surplusage of these rents, beyond the £70 payable to Dr. Fairclough for interest due on a mortgage of the premises, in the hands of Lyonell Walden, the purchaser of the estate, to pay to whoever the law shall award the case. Signed in agreement by R. Pulleyn that the surplusage = £109, shall be left with L. Wallden. Added: Acknowledgement from the Englishes that they have received from R. Pulleyn an order on said L. Wallden for his paying to them said £109 therefore they promise to release Pulleyn from all damages, costs, etc. which may come to him re. the suit in Chancery commenced against him by the Englishes. dated 1 Feb. 1683.
