Henry Jefferies has died since the last court, seised of a messuage and 30a. land liable for heriot. Mary Blackmore, wife of Abraham Blackmore, Joan Jefferies and Sara Bridge, wife of Henry Bridge, are his sisters and next heirs. Admission of Mary Blackmore to 1/3 part. Admission 25 May, 1616 Henry Jefferies was also seised of a cottage with a garden and 2a. land liable to heriot called Bailies. Same heirs. Admission of Mary Blackmore to 1/3 part. Surrender 22 May, 1618 Before Talbot Pepys, Esq., deputy steward. Abraham Blackmore and Mary, his wife, surrendered above lands to use of John Goodwyn and Joan, his wife, and the longer liver of them. After their death to their legitimate heirs. For default of same to heirs of said John for ever.
