DescriptionAt the Court Baron of Richard Freeman, Edward Backwell and Richard Lapley, gents, lords of the manor before James Winstanley, Esq., steward of Laurence Moyer to 1 close of 2a. called Farthings, abutting on Walwood Lane towards the north and upon Machwinfield alias Matchingfield towards the east, and upon the lands of Laurence Moyer towards the west, with all apps., on the surrender of Adam Wayne, out of court on 27th Sep. 1650, by the hands of Benjamin Crawley, Esq., and Edward Maynard, gent, 2 of the customary tenants of the manor. Enclosed: Rough copy of Admission. Robert Rowe, Esq. replaces Edward Maynard.
