Description(1552) Weds. after Trinity Richard Pulter, on the surrender of his mother Elizabeth, formerly the wife of Richard Pulter and lately the wife of William Norman, she having died since the last court. To ½ of 1 tenement and 1 croft of copyhold land with apps. called Messinge and copyhold land with apps called Lokwarens and ½ of 1 tenement and a croft of land late Henry Drewer's containing by estimation 3a. and 6a. formerly Roger Byrle's and 1 cottage and 3a. copyhold land formerly Richard Jacob's and 1 toft and 4a. land with apps. called Schonk's land and 6a. waste. Richard being 11 and therefore under age his guardianship is granted to Wm. Poulter of Maldon his closest relation.
