DescriptionThe post-1974 Cambridgeshire County Council (CC7) set up an information library for its Members and senior offficers, called the Local Government Information Service (LGIS). As well as publications of the post-1974 county council, the LGIS collection inherited many earlier publications and reports that had been created or collected by the county council's predecessor authorities. Huntingdonshire County Council was one of these. On the grounds that (a) researchers will most likely search for 1889-1965 reports here in the CC2 catalogue, and (b) this was not an organic archive but was instead an artifical collection of printed library items, we have separated out all the items from the LGIS collection which are relevant to the period covered by Huntingdonshire County Council and we have listed them here in the series CC2/LGIS.
